Jordan 11 "Space Jam"
Space Jams are one of the most sought after pairs of shoes in the sneaker world. You can find them in a lot of serious collectors collections, but they aren’t very common amongst the average sneaker collector. In most “sneakerhead’s” opinions, as well as mine, the shoe itself (Jordan 11) is the best Jordan ever released. However, the best colorway depends on which “sneakerhead” you’re talking to. Most would say “Space Jams”, others would say “Concords”, and some might even say “Breds”. In my opinion it’s the “Space Jams”. After all Space Jam is one of the best basketball movies ever made, especially for a kid growing up in the 90’s. With this movie people got the first look at the black Jordan 11 with shiny paten leather, blue logo, and an ICEY outsole. The shoe itself is iconic but to release a colorway through such an impactful movie, the Jordan brand really knew what they were doing. The reason these are so sought after or rare is because they have only been released three times, in 1996, 2000, and 2009. Each release had limited quantities and sold out within hours.
